Each month, the Alzheimer’s Association offers free family education programs across Wisconsin, designed to assist anyone who has questions about Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and open to families, caregivers and the general community.
Locally, "Dementia Conversations" will take place on Friday, Jan. 6, 10 -11 a.m. at Shirley Doane Senior Center (1412 Sixth St., Menomonie). This program offers tips on how to have honest and caring conversations with family members about doctor visits, driving and legal and financial planning.
