On Dec. 27, members of the Hands for Hospice Committee presented both Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice and St. Croix Hospice a check for $6,000 made on behalf of the Hands for Hospice Fund of the Community Foundation of Dunn County. The grants were made possible thanks to proceeds from the Hands for Hospice Golf Tournament in June, which raised more than $15,000 to support local hospice programs.

Hands for Hospice is a group of individuals and businesses striving to keep hospice alive in Dunn County to support life and death with dignity. For the last 21 years, Mayo Clinic has coordinated the Hospice Golf Outing to raise funds and awareness for hospice needs in the region. This year, the event transitioned from a Mayo Clinic event and is now coordinated by the Hands for Hospice Committee through the CFDC.
