KNAPP — Bryan Lee Bignell, 18, of Knapp passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 2, 2018.
He was born Feb. 12, 2000 in Menomonie to Chris and Sue Bignell.
Bryan was a wonderful soul. He was a smiling face at Menomonie High School where he was active in many school clubs and events including DECA, Forensics. He had a gift for public speaking. Bryan loved to cook with his grandma and spent time looking at tractors with his grandpa and always enjoyed time with his dad hunting deer and turkey. He had a special place in his heart for his little sister, Rebekah.
He worked at McDonald’s in Baldwin with the long-term goal of becoming an auctioneer. Bryan was a bit of an entrepreneur as he enjoyed buying things, fixing them up and selling them for a little extra money. He always made time to volunteer.
Bryan had a strong faith and loved the Lord. “The Lord is my rock” Psalm 18:2.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Sue; sister, Rebekah; grandparents, Clarence and Darleen Bignell; uncle, Rob Bignell; and cousin, Kieran; as well as many aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Bryan is preceded in death by sister, Cassandra; and aunt, Ivis.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at United Methodist Church in Menomonie with Pastor Wendy Slaback officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, town of Stanton, Dunn County. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
