Later, Dorothy and her special friend, Chuck Thill, built a home in Spring Valley and enjoyed their retirement years together. She was especially fond of her dog and their trips to Florida for a few months each winter.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Ormson; parents; and four brothers, Harvey, Vernon, John, and Donald.
