COLFAX — Pearl G. Koehler, 86, of Colfax passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1931, in the Town of Tainter, Dunn County, to George and Palma (Olson) Quaderer.
Pearl married Vernon Koehler on March 19, 1949, at St. Katherine’s Church Parsonage. She loved to crochet, garden, fish, hunt and bake. Pearl was always there to lend a helping hand.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Vernon of 68 years; son, David Koehler; grandchildren, Nicole (Zach) Mardaus and Josh Koehler; brother, Jerry (Vicki) Quaderer; sisters, Pat (Roland) Jacobs, Vonnie (Arnie) Haas, Mary Jo (Jerry) Gaulke; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Debbie and Dan; brothers, William and James Quaderer; sisters, Fern Koehler, Joanne Allen, Linda Haas; as well as an infant brother and sister.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at St Katherine’s (Beyer Settlement) in the town of Red Cedar with Pastor Shawn Kauffeld officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. There will be a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the church. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
