Zachary Brian Wold, 22, of Menomonie passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1995, in Eau Claire, Wis. to Brian and Wendy (Duffield) Wold. Zach was raised in the Boyceville area and graduated from Boyceville High School in 2014.
Currently Zach was working in the family business in Menomonie. He was a hard worker who was constantly looking for a new project and was always willing to help.
He enjoyed movies, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, spending time up north at the cabin with family and time with his dog Bella. He was also a savvy cribbage player. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Zach is survived by his parents, Brian and Wendy; sisters, Larissa (Adam) Gunderson and Anne-Elise (Colten) Behling; nephews, Brayden and Camden Behling; paternal grandparents, Dan and Sharon Wold; maternal grandparents, Reuben and Barbara Kirkland; uncles, Greg (Heidi) Wold, Aaron (Dianna) Wold; aunts, Michelle (Eric) Madson, Pam (Brian) Zitelman; he is further survived by his godparents, Terry and Lila Wold, Donald and Lynn McIlquham; as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Raymond and Eunice Wold, Fred and Deloris House and Larry and Carol Davidson.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Heather Kistner officiating. There will be visitation from 1 until the service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to a charity of donor’s choice.
