River Valley Ford is proud to announce a monthly donation program for local charities, selected by employees of the dealership. Each month, one employee’s name is drawn at random, and that person’s charity of choice will receive a check worth $10 for every vehicle that was sold during the previous month.
The employee selected this month was Andrew Guski. He selected ADORAY Home Health and Hospice as his charity. ADORAY helps people with health conditions with comfortable, at-home service that would otherwise require nursing home or hospital inpatient care.
River Valley Ford sold 103 vehicles during the month of December. Therefore, they presented ADORAY with a check for $1,030.
“We felt it was time to create a program to help some of the local charities that do such great work in our area”, Andy Lamb, the owner of River Valley Ford, said. “We also wanted our employees to have a voice as to where those funds were directed. I was touched at their participation and to hear why they chose the charity they did. We employ 40 people at our dealership, and these are all people who live in the community and have personal experiences, whether it’s through family or friends. We want to do our part in making these organizations financially stronger so they can continue their outreach in the community.”
