Alano Club of Menomonie is hosting a crafts, arts and vendor fair and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Both are open to the public at the club, located at 105 N. 21st St., Menomonie.
The third annual Crafts, Arts and Vendor Fair will be held at the club on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both breakfast and lunch items will also be for sale.
A free traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served on Thursday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. On the menu: turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a variety of side dishes which attendees are invited to bring.
The annual meeting of the Alano Club was held Nov. 5. The following officers were elected: president Dan Paulson; vice-president Kari Dahl; secretary Jenna Evenson; treasurer Jim Schwartzoff. Those holding director positions are Mary Jane Raines, Joey Almstead, and Donna Nygard (alternate Doug Wahl). Paul Hegelson is an ex-officio board member.
There are more than two dozen recovery meetings at the Alano Club of Menomonie during various times of the day and evening to offer support to individuals afflicted with or affected by addiction.
