Join Mayo Clinic Health System and the Aging and Disability Resource Center for the Living Well with Chronic Conditions workshop.

This free six-week workshop is for those who have, or live with someone who has, a chronic condition, such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis or another long-term health problem. Learn about managing the condition to maintain an active and fulfilling life. Workshop is offered in Menomonie on Wednesdays, May 2–June 6, 4:30–7 p.m. in the  North Conference Room, Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar.

A free seven-week Stepping On fall prevention program will be offered on Wednesdays, May 2–June 13 from 9:30–11:30 a.m. at the Shirley Doane Senior Center, 1412 St. E.

Stepping On curriculum covers improving balance, strength training, home environment safety, low vision needs and medication review. Participants will gain confidence in their mobility and reduce the risk of falls to maintain an active life.
