On Nov. 9, UW Stout Police Chief Jason Spetz and UW Stout Senior AODA Counselor Jake Bloom spoke to attendees of the Dunn County Partnership for Youth General Partnership meeting about marijuana edibles. The presentation was followed with question and answer time that assisted with the attendees being able to further understand general information surrounding edibles along with the current issues in our area.

DCPFY presented a second campaign about marijuana that ended in October which revolved around the topic. A third marijuana campaign will bring education about dabs — concentrated doses of cannabis made by extracting THC and other cannabinoids using a solvent like butane or carbon dioxide, resulting in sticky oils also commonly referred to as wax, shatter, budder, and butane hash oil (BHO).
