In Friday's second round of WIAA girls' basketball playoffs, Elk Mound (No. 3) and Colfax (No. 2) advanced to the regional final for Division 4 while Menomonie (No. 3) moved on in Division 2. Boyceville (No. 11) was eliminated after a 54-30 loss to Clear Lake (No. 3)

Elk Mound ended as the victors in a narrow 46-44 contest with No. 6 Cochrane-Fountain City at Elk Mound High School. Colfax handily defeated No. 7 Ladysmith 64-26 at home and Menomonie hosted No. 6 LaCrosse Central where they emerged with a 61-56 victory.

Colfax stays at home for their regional final to take on Clear Lake today at 4 p.m. The Mustangs will travel to Rice Lake this evening to play the No. 2 Warriors in the regional final at 7 p.m. Considering possible inclement weather, if the game is canceled, it will be rescheduled to Monday evening.

Elk Mound will play their regional final against the No. 2 Panthers at Durand High School on Monday at 7 p.m.
