Western Wisconsin Christian Writers Guild (WWCWG) invites writers to its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 10 to hear guest speaker Michelle Rayburn at Bethesda Church in Eau Claire as she presents Marketing from Proposal to Publication. Rayburn will share insights into developing a marketing strategy from the moment a book is a concept. Discuss how to survey the market and cost-effective ways of publishing to capture the intended audience and learn how to maximize free marketing opportunities.

Rayburn is the author of The Repurposed and Upcycled Life: When God Turns Trash to Treasure. She has been a freelance writer and professional speaker for more than 15 years and has publish hundreds of articles. She is also an account manager for Stokes+HERZOG, a marketing, P.R., and advertising firm in Eau Claire.

WWCWG meets from 7-9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month (September to May) at Bethesda Lutheran Church on the corner of State and Hamilton in Eau Claire. The group offers Christian fellowship, practical advice, networking, and training opportunities to writers and other artists.
