In the 1970s, artist Rob Price began teaching in UW-Stout’s art design department. He retired from full-time teaching in 2000, but continued part-time through 2012.

Now fully retired, a retrospective of Price’s drawings was accepted for exhibition in the Janet Carson Gallery at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center (316 Eau Claire St., Eau Claire) through Oct. 18.

Emphasizing the primacy of drawing, the immediate and extended outlet that it can be is the focus of the exhibit that spans Price’s career from 1968-2013. The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Thursday until 7 p.m.
