The Menomonie Theater Guild announces auditions for “Company” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11 and Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Menomonie Theater Guild studio (502 West Second St.) Callback are set for 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, this landmark concept musical revolves around the institution of marriage and relationships, exploring the dynamics, challenges and benefits from many perspectives. MTG’s production will be staged by co-directors Melissa Smith-Tourville and Marianne Fieber-Dhara, with musical direction by Mark Pruett.

There are 14 roles in this ensemble show: baritones Robert (30-35), Harry (35-45), Peter (30-40), David (30-40), Larry (45-55); tenor Paul (30-40); sopranos Susan (30-40), Jenny (30-40), Kathy (25-35); mezzo soprano/altos Sarah (30-40), Amy (25-35), April (25-35), Marta (20-30); alto Joanne (40-50)

Detailed information may be found at the Menomonie Public Library. Auditions will include readings from the script as well as a prepared 16-32 bars of an upbeat tempo song from a musical.
