The University of Wisconsin-Stout Manufacturing Outreach Center and Professional Education Programs and Services announced targeted programs available for manufacturers in the areas of Lean, exporting and ISO.

The Lean Certification Series begins Feb. 25 and comprises a series of six workshops and live simulations with a mentored implementation project at the business. The cost savings from projects typically pay back the investment many times over and promote continuous improvement activities.

ExporTech™ begins March 13 and is the only national export assistance program that offers a structured and customizable process to guide companies through every aspect of export growth. At the completion of the program, each company will have developed its own international growth plan and accelerated their export sales process.

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training will be held April 10 to 11. Businesses dedicated to improving efficiency and effectiveness of company operations often become ISO certified. These initiatives are sustained through internal auditors who provide the necessary insights on how well the system is performing for the organization.
