Skyler (named "Rufas" by his foster family) is one of three remaining male Lab/shepherd/husky mix puppies available for adoption at the Dunn County Humane Society (DCHS). The puppies are currently in fostercare. Any interested adopters should contact DCHS to set up a time to meet the puppies, or call for more information.

January adoption specials
This month, take $20 off the adoption fee for any dog that has been at the shelter for six or more months. Also, $11 is the adoption fee for cats that have been at the shelter for six months or longer.
The Funkeys will be at the Stout Ale House on Friday, Jan. 21, to help raise funds for DCHS and Positive Alternatives,Inc. There will be lots of music and plenty of laughs. Come join the fun to raise money to help the homeless animals and youth of Dunn County.
This will be a high-energy, all-request, sing-along, clap-along, rock ‘n roll, comedy piano show where the audience is just as much a part of the show as the entertainers. (The show is for mature audiences only due to adult humor content.)

Rabies vaccination clinic
DCHS is hosting its annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic at Keyes Chevrolet in Menomonie, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 12.
Dr. Vandeberg from Painted Pony Equine Service will be administering rabies shots for $12. Canine and feline distemper shots will also be available for $5. Microchipping will be offered for $20.
No appointments are necessary.
For safety reasons, all dogs must be leashed and all cats in carriers.
DCHS is currently in need of the following donations: Purina Cat Chow and Purina Kitten Chow.
