Elk Mound's Langby family to take the stage

The Langby family of rural Elk Mound will play a lively mix of jigs, reels, ballads and more at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Heyde Center for the Arts in Chippewa Falls. Concert goers will be tapping their toes and grinning when they hear the traditional Celtic and old-time fiddle tunes from this family band. There will be room for dancing.

Known as the Barnyard Banshees, the group features: Dean on fiddle and cello; Olivia on fiddle and vocals; Alice on bodhran, vocals and fiddle; and Leah on flute and whistle. Admission is $5 per person.
