Alexis Chapman, of Jim Falls, and Anna Winfield, of Bloomer, were awarded Stars Scholarships. They are two of twenty seven students either attending or planning to attend UW-Stout who have been awarded $146,280 in scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year through a National Science Foundation grant. Both Alexis and Anna are majoring in applied science.
Robin Bergeron, of Chippewa Falls, received the Steiner/Milnes Scholarship. Bergeron is majoring in psychology; Kayla Bowe, of Chippewa Falls, received the AMCS Outstanding Freshman Scholarship. Bowe is majoring in applied mathematics and computer science; Danielle Fellom, of Chippewa Falls, received the Target Go Retail! Scholarship. Fellom is majoring in retail merchandising and management; Laura Hanson, of New Auburn, received the Margaret Pennington Swanson Scholarship. Hanson is majoring in human development and family studies; Charlene Holmes, of Boyd, received the Fulton and Edna Holtby Endowed Scholarship. Holmes is majoring in manufacturing engineering; Brianna Krause, of Chippewa Falls, received the Nancy and Ralph Iverson Scholarship. Krause is majoring in early childhood education; Nathan Mullen, of Bloomer, received the John Entorf Scholarship, Fiskars Manufacturing Engineering Endowed Scholarship and the Ober E. Haug Endowed Scholarship. Mullen is majoring in engineering technology; Brent Sarauer, of Bloomer, received the Steiner/Milnes Scholarship. Sarauer is majoring in applied science; Anna Winfield, of Bloomer, received the Steiner/Milnes Scholarship. Winfield is majoring in applied science.
