10:43 a.m. Jon J. Leiser, 511 N. Main St., Cadott, reported vandalism to a construction site at 8758 257th St.
10:22 p.m. Miriam I. Wilson, 829 N. Main St. Cadott, reported a theft from her residence.
Tuesday, Dec. 5
12:50 p.m. Tony K. Kulesa, 5721 160th St., Chippewa falls, reported the theft of a prescription medications from his residence.
10:02 p.m. A deputy arrested Charles E. Sippy, 35, for OWI third offense on County GG.
Monday, Dec. 4
6:45 p.m. Dessin E. Lato, 17, W7349 County O, Withee, was driving a 1988 Chevy Blazer, when he pulled over on the side of Highway 29 near 330th Street to assist his father. He pulled back into the lane of traffic on Highway 29 and was struck in the rear by a 2004 Chevy truck driven by Jason R. Haas, 25, 302 W. Rusch St., Thorp. Haas suffered minor injury. A passenger in Lato’s vehicle, Dennis E. Lato, 51, also of Withee, was transported for treatment of injuries. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
Tuesday, Dec. 5
12:43 p.m. James B. McCorison, 55, 1136 Briar Cliff Drive, Altoona, was driving a 2000 Dodge Intrepid southbound on 210th Street when he turned left into a private driveway and was struck by a northbound 1993 Mazda 626 driven by Thomas J. Molner, 52, 17348 Highway 178, Jim Falls. Both drivers were transported for treatment of injuries. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. McCorison was cited.

Jim Bruhn of Cadott has been named “star” wrestler of the week by the Chippewa Herald-Telegram for winning the 132 pound championship in the Ellsworth Invitational.
Terry Licht of Cadott, LeRoy Gulich of Holcombe and Bryce Harelstad of New Auburn accepted awards for their teams’ 4-H club in a soil judging contest. Trophies were given by the Chippewa Falls Kiwanis.
