Allan G. Jones, born Oct. 30, 1941 in Chippewa Falls, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 17, 2018, following a valiant battle against cancer.

Allan was a member of the Air Force from 1961 to 1965. San Antonio was his home for 48 years. He served as an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force for three years. He worked 20 years for Coca-Cola, five years for Keebler Co., and 18 years managing the H2GO Purified Water Store. He moved to Fletcher, N.C. in 2013 to be closer to his sister and family.

Allan was known for his humor, generosity, work ethic, and kindness to all. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, gardening, and country music.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Rollin, in 2015.

He is survived by two sisters, Carol Deyarmond, Barbara Bohnstadt (husband, Allen); a niece, Jennifer Othersen and her family; a sister-in-law, Annette Jones, (Rollin’s wife) and their six children and families. Special mention: John Aultman and Sandy Tyson, and a good friend, Chuck Hawsey.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls following the service.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boys Town, Neb.
