Jacob Lee Schultz, age 4, of Cornell, passed away Friday, Aug. 30th, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Jacob was born on April 18, 2009 the son of Garrett Kahl and Brandi Schultz in Chippewa Falls.

He really loved his big brother and loved playing X-Box - “Call of Duty”, computer game - “Angry Birds”, watching cartoons, listening to music, riding four wheeler and playing with Hot Wheels.

Jacob is survived by: his parents, Garrett and Brandi; brother, Chase Schultz; maternal grandparents, Paris Schultz and Maynard “Snapper” Schultz; paternal grandparents, Kessea Kahl and Dale Ekum; maternal great-grandmother, Pat Conry; paternal great-grandparents, David and Sheilda Kahl; cousins, Derek, Noah, Trenten, Jackson, Carter, Mason, Stella, Annadele and Adalynn; aunts and uncles, Brad and Marissa Schultz, Breanna Schultz, Jodean Kahl, Tessa (Travis) Kron and Tonya (Tom) Kyeremeh. He is also survived by many great-aunts, great-uncles; cousins and many many friends.

He was preceded in death by: his paternal great-grandmother, Martha Ekum; great-uncle, Pete Hartman; maternal great-grandparents, Clifford and Alene Schultz; and uncle, Nikki Lee Schultz.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6th, at the Sheldon Full Gospel Church in Sheldon, with Rev. Micah Minton officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon.

Family and friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5th, at the Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell and also one hour before services Friday at the church.
