James A. LeDuc, 64, of Chippewa Falls died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Jim was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Leonard and Lydia (Kubista) LeDuc.
On Nov. 8, 1980, Jim married Kim Ehman at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls. Jim worked at Meyer Chevrolet and then as an insurance adjuster for Marten Trucking.
Jim enjoyed going for drives while listening to music and looking at the fall colors, classic cars, NASCAR, football, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jim is survived by two sons, Jeremy LeDuc of Chippewa Falls and Eric (Brittany) LeDuc of Fort Rucker, Ala.; one daughter, Nicole (Nicholas) Bartel of Chippewa Falls; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Ehman of Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers, Thomas (Marilyn) LeDuc and David (Sharon) LeDuc both of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Ruth Ann (Joel) Cooper of Yakima, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Nico and David Bartel, Elle and Shiloh LeDuc.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Kim; his parents; one brother, Francis LeDuc; and one sister, Mary Lou Frenette.
A memorial service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Mike Houle of Chippewa Valley Vineyard Church in Chippewa Falls, will be officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home.
