OJIBWA, Wis. — Jean A. Schleusner, 72, of Ojibwa passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at her home.

Jean is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill; two children, Tammy (Mike) Polta of Amery, Wis., Shane (Jana) Schleusner of Larkspur, Colo.; one granddaughter, Michaela; sister-in-law, Joan Richert of Stillwater, Minn.; nephews, Jeff (Karen) Richert and Doug (Sue King) Richert; and niece, Pam (Ron) Schleusner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Harold Richert Jr.

Honorary bearers will be Sue King, Betty Koch, Don Koch, Mike Polta, Doug Richert and Jana Schleusner.

A memorial service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Grace Lutheran Church in Hayward, with Pastor Tony Stoutenburg officiating. A time of gathering with family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church. A private interment will be held at a later time at Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Lake Elmo.
