A Chippewa Falls man and a Boyceville woman were arrested in Lake Hallie Monday night on several drug charges.
Arrested at 13377 43rd Ave. at 8:17 p.m. were Jeffrey H.S. Apfel, 30, and Paige M. Reaney, 22.
A Chippewa County Court document said Apfel was arrested on possible charges of possessing methamphetamine, meth paraphernalia, possessing marijuana, felony bail jumping and possessing Schedule IV controlled substances.
The document said Reaney was arrested on possible charges of possessing meth, meth paraphernalia, cocaine, felony bail jumping and possessing Schedule IV controlled substances.
It will be up to the Chippewa County District Attorney’s office whether to file formal charges against either or both Apfel and Reaney.
Cash bonds for $500 have been set for Apfel and Reaney. They are scheduled to appear before Judge Steve Cray at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
