Many people are calling for change in our government this year. I wholeheartedly agree. However, it's not change at the top we need, but change in Congress.
Change from the know-nothing, do-nothing group we now have. Change from the obstructionist "oppose Obama over everything" group we now have. Change from a Senate that has shirked its duty for months by refusing to vote on a Supreme Court nominee.
Change from another four or eight years of a Congress whose self-proclaimed No. 1 priority is not to work on issues, but to totally and completely oppose the president. Change from the Tea Party (Total Economic Amnesia) likes of Sen. Ron Johnson and Rep. Sean Duffy to candidates who can and will work toward solving problems.
Fortunately, we have such candidates on the ballot in Russ Feingold and Mary Hoeft.
