Marshfield Clinic backs school referendums

Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) is excited to announce our support for approving both referendum questions with respect to the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District.

We have decided to express our support for the approval of these referendum questions for two main reasons: Strong schools mean a stronger MCHS and a stronger community as a whole.

Exceptional schools are critical to MCHS’ ability to recruit and retain the excellent staff we need to continue providing innovative, world-class health care to Chippewa Falls. Great schools make Chippewa Falls a more attractive place to raise a family, which makes our recruiting efforts more successful.

Quality schools are imperative not only to the success of MCHS in Chippewa Falls, but for any business that needs to attract and retain staff. In this sense, our schools are an economic focal point of the community.

Our mission as an organization is to enrich lives. To carry out this mission, it is important for MCHS to engage in meaningful partnerships in Chippewa Falls that will improve the overall well-being of the community. Excellent schools lie at the very foundation of any successful community, so partnering with the school district was a very natural choice for our organization.

At MCHS, we cherish being a part of the Chippewa Falls community. We want the best for our children, teachers and everyone who lives here. Supporting these referendum questions, we believe, is in the best interest of the entire community.

We encourage you to join us in supporting our teachers, students and community by voting yes to both referendum questions Nov. 8.
