Alex Hornibrook: The sophomore quarterback bounced back from a slow start – his fumble led to a Utah State touchdown – with a big performance through the air. Hornibrook, who was 15 of 23, set career highs with 244 yards and three touchdown passes.

THUMBS UP

Jonathan Taylor: The freshman tailback rushed for 87 yards on nine carries in his debut, including a 41-yard burst on UW’s opening play from scrimmage in the second half.
