Big Ten puck 1

Freshman Jack Berry gets the start in goal Friday night when the University of Wisconsin men's hockey team opens a Big Ten Conference series against Minnesota at the Kohl Center.

It might be the start of a full-on rotation for the Badgers. Berry played the opener against Michigan State two weeks ago before Matt Jurusik took over for the second game.

Berry made 25 saves in the Badgers' 5-1 victory over the Spartans on Jan. 6. His statistics are much better at home (3-1-1, 1.95 goals-against average, .913 save percentage) than away from it (2-2, 3.32, .863).
