One of the determining factors when the University of Wisconsin men's hockey team opens a series against Penn State on Friday (7 p.m., Wisconsin Channel, 1310 AM) will be which side can be more aggressive in its offensive style.
The 17th-ranked Badgers and the 10th-ranked Nittany Lions both like to push forward, possess the puck and get shots on the net.
No one's better at the latter than Penn State, but the Badgers are determined to not get overwhelmed early.
"I think for us, our challenge will be to not let them get to their game and to make them have to defend against what we do well," Badgers coach Tony Granato said this week.
We'll see which team dictates things Friday night.
