In 1-0 and 5-2 losses to the Irish, Minnesota had a 86-58 combined advantage in shots on goal but struggled to finish. The results dropped the Gophers to 1-5-1 on the road; they’re 7-1 at home. ... Goaltender Eric Schierhorn is expected to make his 92nd straight start tonight, the fifth-longest streak for a goalie in NCAA history.
