Chi-Hi senior running back Codie Meinen and junior defensive lineman Rico DeLeon have each been named to the All-Big Rivers Conference first team for the 2017 season.

Meinen ran for a team-high 904 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Cardinals while DeLeon led the team in fumble recoveries (five), sacks (three) and was third in tackles (36).

Senior linebacker Jared Woodhull was named to the second team. Woodhull was second on the team in tackles (42) during the season.

Senior defensive back Caleb Lau, junior offensive lineman Nate Hayes, junior tight end JD Czech and junior running back Matt Pomietlo were each honorable mentions.

Menomonie senior running back Justin Evans was the conference's offensive player of the year while Hudson senior defensive lineman Cole Godbout was the league's defensive player of the year. Menomonie coach Joe LaBuda was named the league's coach of the year.
