NOTICE OF HEARING ONAMENDMENT TO ZONING RESTRICTIONTO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of La Crosse, by its Judiciary & Administration Committee, will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance change in the zoning code as follows:AN ORDINANCE to amend Subsection 115-110 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Crosse transferring certain property from the Single Family District and Residence District to the Traditional Neighborhood District - General allowing use as commercial, mix use or multi-family development at 618 Jackson St. and 1004 7th St. S.Proposed rezoning is necessary because: Proposed zoning is necessary to attract interested developers and to combine the lots.Said property is further described as follows:Tax Parcel No. 17-300004-40 and 17-30004-20.E.S. SMITH'S ADDITIONW 40FT LOT 25 & W 40FT OF N1/2 LOT 26 BLOCK 3LOT 25 EX W 40FT & LOT 26 EX S 40FT & EX W 40FT OF N 10FT BLOCK 3The City Plan Commission will meet to consider said ordinance on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room in City Hall, City of La Crosse, Wisconsin.A public hearing before the Judiciary & Administration Committee will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, City of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Final action will be determined by the Common Council on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, City of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Any person interested may be heard for or against such proposed change, and may appear in person, by attorney or may file a formal objection, which objection forms are available in the City Clerk's Office.
