NOTICE I. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Monroe County, Wisconsin, by the undersigned Monroe County Administrator, will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. on the 23rd of June, 2021 for doing the following public work in the Monroe County, Wisconsin: Rolling Hills Nursing Home Project Bid Package No. 2 Work Scopes Offered: 04A Masonry 07B Roofing 07C Siding 08A Doors, Frames & Hardware 09A Insulation & Drywall 11F Food Service Equipment The project consists of an 80,000 square foot, 98-unit skilled nursing and assisted living facility, on a 10-acre greenfield site, across from the County's existing facility off County Highway B in Sparta WI. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the same now on file with Kraus-Anderson Construction Company for the inspection of bidders and in accordance with the prepared form of contract and bond as outlined in the bidding documents. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility paperwork must be filed in the office of County Administration, Adrian Lockington, Monroe County Executive Building, 124 N. Court Street, Sparta, WI 54656, or adrian.lockington@co.monroe.wi.us, no later than 2:00 p.m. On June 16, 2021, showing sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the contract. Monroe County's review team decision regarding qualification shall be final. Bids will be accepted only from such qualified bidders. The Notice to Contractors, the Information to Bidders, the Bid Proposal, the Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, Bid Bond and list of Subcontractors, the Performance-Payment Bond, the General Conditions, Specifications, Plans, Addenda (if any), and all ordinances of Monroe County and State Statutes applicable to this contract shall be considered a part of the contract. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Monroe County Board shall have awarded the contract and shall be completed by 7/5/2022.
