GrassWorks, Inc. announces that is has 10 scholarship opportunities for prospective organic farmers to attend the annual GrassWorks Grazing Conference to be held Jan. 30-Feb. 1 in Wisconsin Dells. This year’s conference will feature Greg Gunthorp, a farmer from Indiana who raises pigs, chickens and turkeys all on pasture, Susan Beal, a holistic veterinarian, with more to come.

Thanks to a grant from Organic Valley’s Farmers Advocating for Organic Program, Grassworks is accepting scholarship applications to attend the conference in order to inspire and educate the next generation of organic graziers to become regenerative grassland farmers.

Applications are available at www.grassworks.org/events/grazing-conference/. Deadline is Oct. 31; scholarship winners will be announced on Dec. 1.
