Dona Jean Reinwand (Beseler), 84, formerly of Menomonie, passed away peacefully in her home in Phoenix, Ariz. Sunday, April 29, 2018.
Dona was born Feb. 12, 1934, to Hubert and Evelyn Reinwand in Marshfield, Wis. She had one brother, Gerald “Dick” Reinwand who still resides in Marshfield. After Dona completed high school, she met John A. Beseler and was married May 13, 1954. The couple had six children, three boys, and three girls, and later moved to Menomonie, where Dona continued to raise her children. She was an active bowler, and participated in many competitions and tournaments throughout her years. Dona enjoyed going on family camping trips and vacationing with her children.
Dona divorced in 1976, but she found love again with Glenn Nyberg, and was married June 24, 1978. He had two daughters of his own, Julie and Penny Nyberg. Glenn was killed in a tragic automobile accident after a short time of marriage.
Dona then moved to Carson City, Nev., where she lived for 27 years. She was surrounded by most of her family there, and spent her time doing in home child care, as well as making memories with her children and grandchildren. In 2010, Dona moved to Phoenix with her youngest daughter and son-in-law, JoEllen and Mike Buckner. She spent the remainder of her life being loved and cared for in their home.
Surviving Dona are her brother, Dick Reinwand; two sons, Jack (Julie) Beseler, Soldotna, Alaska, and Jay Beseler, Barron, Wis.; three daughters, Jodi Beseler, Menomonie, Janalee (Thor) Beseler-LeCount, Detroit Lakes, Minn. and JoEllen (Michael) Buckner, Phoenix. Dona is also remembered by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
