BOYCEVILLE — Eunice Anderson, 85, of Boyceville, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 8, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar, after a brief illness.
Eunice was born to Oluf and Cornella Olson in Menomonie. She attended high school in Menomonie and Spring Valley, Wis. In 1952, she married Edward J. Greenway and resided at Summit Cheese Factory in Wilson, where they worked and raised their family. After Edward’s death, she married Stanley Anderson and lived in Boyceville, first at his farm and then in a home they built on Anderson Hill.
She loved feeding and watching birds, visits from the deer, playing cards with friends and family, listening to bluegrass music and reading history and romance novels. Always independent and ready to travel, Eunice enjoyed trips to Egypt, Peru, Alaska, Hawaii and across the U.S. She had fun shopping, antiquing and winning at casinos.
Eunice is survived by her three children, Arvella Greenway of Minneapolis, Dr. Joy Greenway of Tucson, Ariz., and Kelton Greenway of Sun Prairie, Wis.; four grandchildren, Katie Greenway, Jacob Greenway, Sierra Vig, Pharm. D, and Savanna Vig, DVM.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gail Olson; first husband, Edward J Greenway; second husband, Stanley Anderson.
By her wishes, no funeral service is planned. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
