PRAIRIE FARM, Wis. — Justin Andrew Poach, 26, of Prairie Farm passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 9, 1989, to Tressa Cain and Donald Poach Jr. After graduating in 2007, from Colfax High School, he worked various jobs including Walmart, Pleasant Valley Tree Farm and most recently enjoyed working at Paul’s Sheet Metal in Rice Lake, Wis., since 2011. Justin was active in 4H growing up, and loved working with his hands, from wood work to farm work, to working on cars. Justin enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Shayleigh. He put his all into everything, was a great guy with an infectious smile, an optimistic outlook and always made others feel welcome around him. He was a wonderful dad to his little girl, a great brother to his sisters and a loving and wonderful son to his mother and father. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrea Jean and Marshall Cain, Donald Sr. and Shirley Poach; and brother in-law, Tomas Kizer.
He is survived by his daughter, Shayleigh Poach of Menomonie; father, Don Jr. (Judy) Poach of Wheeler; mother, Tressa Cain (Boyd Pigman) of Ridgeland; sisters, Sara Hemingway of Wheeler, Heather Kizer of New Richmond, and Nikki Poach of Wheeler; nieces, Caitlyn and Vanessa Kizer, Rayne Hemingway and Payton Wormer; several step-siblings; as well as many other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, with service to follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Paul Green officiating at Ridgeland Community Center, 200 Diamond Street, Ridgeland, Wis., 54763. Interment will be at a later date in Hay River Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Hay River, Dunn County. We ask that you please bring stories and happy memories to share.
