Jason Church

Retired Capt. Jason Church talks to Fort McCoy community members Oct. 26, 2017 about what he has learned since losing both legs beneath the knee to an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2012.

The Dunn County Veterans Ministry Group will be hosting "Life After Discharge – What Now? Finding a New Purpose", an outreach event for Veterans and their families on Saturday, April 21 from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Menomonie Alliance Church (502 21st St. NE) and will provide information about local resources.

Jason Church will be the featured speaker. Jason is a Menomonie High School graduate who received a Purple Heart after losing both of his legs serving in Afghanistan. He is also the 2014 NCAA Inspirational Award winner and currently works for the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs.
