We’d also like to thank Ellsworth High School for hosting the hearing. There’s a lot that goes into public hearings and the folks in Ellsworth did a fantastic job. We are very grateful for all they did.

The statewide public hearings are an important part of the budget process. It gives us a chance to hear directly from the people of Wisconsin how the budget will affect them. It’s crucial in our decision making and we are very pleased with the number of people who turned out.
