9:30 a.m. — Evergreen Cemetery (920 21st St.) on Monday, May 30 at 9:30 a.m. Korean War veteran Herb White, will be this year’s speaker. Road to the cemetery (located on the east side of Lake Menomin) stays closed through the ceremony. In case of rain, services will be moved to the Veterans Center of Menomonie (E4710 Highway BB, two miles north of Menomonie on Highway 25).

Dunn County Dairy Breakfast: 7-11 a.m. at Val-O-Mo Farm, Steve Weinzirl Family (N971 County Road D, Elmwood). All-you-can eat Dad’s Belgian Waffles, sausage, cheese curds, pudding snacks, ice cream, milk and coffee. Bake sale, Milk Buds horse drawn wagon rides, antique tractor display, petting zoo, tractor-driven wagon tour of the farm and door prizes. Cost $5/person for meal. Ludington Guard Band concert: 8 p.m. at Wilson Park, Menomonie. Weekly summer community event features concert (including children’s march before intermission), pie and ice cream social, popcorn.
