Imagine a world where a tiny country in Europe declares war on the United States just so they can lose and receive aid that will save their beleaguered nation. Now imagine that the U.S. ignores them, causing them to march on New York with bows and arrows. Now imagine that they accidentally capture the most powerful bomb ever invented and now control the destiny of the world.

Menomonie High School presents the classic 1960’s political satire, “The Mouse That Roared”, on Nov. 9-12. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets, available at the door, are $5/adults, $3 students (K-12)/seniors. For info, contact director Blaine Halverson at 715-505-6011, or email
