Downtown trick-or-treating

Trick-or-Treaters participate in Chippewa Falls’ downtown trick or treating Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.

Children and their parents are encouraged to don their Halloween costumes, grab their goodie bags and be mindful of these Halloween safety tips as they set out for Trick-or-Treating in their neighborhoods this Monday.

Here are all the times communities in Chippewa County will have Trick-or-Treating on Monday, Oct. 31:

Bloomer: 4-7 p.m. residential, 6 p.m. Halloween party at Bloomer High School.

Cadott: 4-6 p.m. residential

Chippewa Falls: 3-5 p.m. downtown and 5-7 p.m. residential

Cornell: 4-7 p.m. residential

Lake Hallie: 5-7 p.m. residential

New Auburn: 4-6 p.m. residential

Stanley: 5:30-7 p.m. residential

Other Halloween events to put on your calendar:

Halloween Dance Troppo Big Band Jazz Orchestra: 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28 at the Heyde Center for the Arts. Musicians of all ages throughout the Chippewa Valley. Costumes encouraged, and prizes will be awarded to best costumes and dancers. $14 for adults, $13 for seniors and $6 for youth.

Eagles Club Halloween Bash: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at The Eagles Club, 2588 Business 53, Lake Hallie. Featuring Dueling Pianos at 7:30 p.m. A spooky Halloween buffet will be served, plus Halloween drink specials and prizes awarded to best costumes. $50 per couple.

Optimist Club Halloween Dance: 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at Chippewa Falls Middle School, 750 Tropicana Blvd. Al students in grades 6-8 welcome. Contest and prizes given out for best dressed boy and girl from each grade. Free.

Trick-or-Treat at the Veterans Home: 3-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, 2175 E. Park Ave., Chippewa Falls. Public welcome. Visit with the veterans and grab lots of treats while staying warm.

Trunk or Treat Bloomer: 4-5:30 p.m. at the City Park on Main Street.

Trunk or Treat Chippewa Falls: 3-5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at Faith Lutheran Church, 733 Woodward Ave. Get candy and vote on trunks. Free.
