Locker decorations and beyond

Locker decor

The locker decorating options have really expanded over the past several years and now include rugs, lights, vases and even chandeliers.

Locker decorations are no longer limited to some taped-on photos and a magnetic mirror. You can now get wallpaper, rugs, baskets, vases and even chandeliers. If you're willing to invest a little time (and money), the options are almost limitless.

Not everything, however, has to be over-the-top. Little touches can make a big difference.

"Brighten up your space and add personality with colorful accessories like a locker rug, wallpaper and lights, but even just adding family or friend photos with fun magnets can add a bit of personalization," Graham said.

The goal of each of the items is to show off your child's personality while keeping things organized.

"Adding a shelf to divide the space can help your student stay organized, find the right book or folder they need and also prevent their lunches from getting smooshed," Graham said.

She added that message boards are also great options to post reminders about assignments and tests, and magnetic bins are perfect for storing extra supplies.
