Lake Hallie’s public information meeting about two referendum questions on the April 4 ballot will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on March 22.
Chippewa Falls Fire and Emergency Services needs to hire four people to be fully staffed, then another three for new positions established as the result of the public safety referendum last November. In addition it is in the process of purchasing a fifth ambulance to keep up with high call volume.
