Parade-goers enjoyed unusually warm temperatures for the season at Chippewa Falls' 28th annual Bridge to Wonderland parade on Saturday, Dec. 2. This year, the parade's theme was "Christmas in Toyland," and over 50 floats trekked down Bridge Street as thousands of people - from Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, Eau Claire, Cadott, Jim Falls, Stanley, New Auburn and beyond - watched. Several Boy and Girl Scout troops, local fire departments and Santa and Mrs. Claus rode popular floats. Retiring Chippewa Falls city planner Jayson Smith was Grand Marshal of this year's parade.
