Dr. Patterson highlights that there are more than 1,200 students majoring in various areas of the College of Natural Resources and its national reputation. The dean of the College of Natural Resources, Christine Thomas, has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Hunting and Wildlife Heritage, and is "often described as one of the most influential women in conservation and natural resources in the country," Dr. Patterson says.
