The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team will play two current Badgers players’ former teams as part of its nonconference schedule.
The Badgers will host Kamari McGee’s former team (Green Bay) and Jahcobi Neath’s (Wake Forest) in the month of November.
UW announced its complete nonconference schedule Friday with the season starting on Nov. 7 against South Dakota.
The Badgers are also playing at least three postseason tournament teams in Dayton (NIT), Wake Forest (NIT) and Marquette (NCAA).
They could play more depending on who they match up with in the second and third round of the Battle 4 Atlantis.
The team will only travel for two true road games for their nonconference slate, both of which are in Milwaukee. UW will play their second game of the season against Stanford at American Family Field and match up with the Golden Eagles at Fiserv Forum.
The Badgers will also play an exhibition game against UW-Eau Claire at a to be determined date and time.
