Nine players saw the floor for the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team in its final game of the 2017-18 season, a 63-60 loss to Michigan State in a Big Ten Conference tournament quarterfinal at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Eight of those players return this season for the Badgers, including all five starters. Plus, coach Greg Gard’s team welcomes back two players who missed most of the season due to injury and adds a point guard with Division I experience to the rotation.

Gone are three seniors and Andy Van Vliet, who transferred to William & Mary. Joining the mix are four freshmen and a walk-on transfer.

With that, it’s time to learn more about the Badgers.
