Three members of the Chi-Hi/Menomonie girls hockey team received All-Big Rivers Conference recognition this season, including two being placed on the second team.

Senior forward Kaylee Frenette and sophomore goalie Haley Frank were both named second team All-Big Rivers. Freshman forward Sidney Polzin received an honorable mention.

Junior goalie Jaden Hoople was named second team all-conference for the Chi-Hi boys team, while senior defenseman Couper Fosvik and senior forward Lucas Steinmetz received honorable mentions.

The Chi-Hi boys face the winner of the matchup between Hayward and Medford in their playoff opener on Thursday at Chippewa Ice Arena. The Chi-Hi/Menomonie girls take on second-seeded Eau Claire Area on Friday at Hobbs Ice Arena in Eau Claire.
