MARSHFIELD — The Chi-Hi boys basketball team pulled away to a 57-48 nonconference victory over Marshfield on Monday evening.

Tyler Robarge led the Cardinals (12-8) with 18 points and was one of three Chi-Hi scorers to finish in double figures. Nick Bruder added 15 points while Thomas Robarge had 11 points in the win.

Seth Anderson scored 14 points for Marshfield (9-11).

Chi-Hi jumped out to a 28-23 lead at halftime.

Chi-Hi is on the road against River Falls on Thursday.

Unity 72, Lake Holcombe 56

At Holcombe, the Eagles scored a nonconference victory over the Chieftains.

Luke Geist scored 17 points for Lake Holcombe (16-3) while Brady Webster added 13. Trent Novak and Kaden Kinney each scored nine for the Chieftains, who led 45-44 near the 11-minute mark of the second half after a 3-pointer from Webster before Unity (12-8) closed the game strong for the win.

Cullen Fiest led all scorers with 24 points for Unity.

The Chieftains hosted New Auburn in East Lakeland Conference action on Tuesday night.

Girls Basketball

Bloomer 63, Fall Creek 40

At Fall Creek, the Blackhawks ran their win streak to 11 games with a nonconference triumph over the Crickets.

Isabella Jenneman led all scorers with a career-high 19 points for Bloomer (18-3) while pulling down 11 rebounds. Justyne Burgess scored 10 points and Sierra Raine added nine points for the Blackhawks.

Katelyn Hong had nine points for Fall Creek (7-14).

Bloomer travels to Hayward on Friday with the Heart O’North Conference title on the line. The Blackhawks would be co-champions with the Hurricanes with a win.

Unity 55, Lake Holcombe 24

At Holcombe, the Eagles jumped out to a 32-12 halftime lead to score a nonconference win over the Chieftains.

Carley Yeager had 13 points including two 3-pointers to lead Lake Holcombe (8-10).

Briana Peterson led all scorers with 17 points for Unity (15-7).

Lake Holcombe was at home against New Auburn on Tuesday night.
